Over the years, we have not only accumulated a great deal of experience, but we have also heard many interesting stories from our clients. In this article, we will share some of them and hopefully answer some of your questions about living in mobile homes!
Purchased a holiday home in a farmhouse – now a permanent home
The first story that has probably happened to more than one person. A client bought an EKO mobile home and put it in a farmhouse to replace her old house. This is a fairly common scenario, as it saves a lot of time and money. The client was very happy with the renovation of the environment and planned to use the house in summer and spring as a place to snuggle up in nature, enjoy the fresh air and the sun. After more than six months, we received a call from the client asking us to insulate the house with an additional layer of polyurethane foam. The client loved living in a modular house so much that she decided to move there instead of just staying.
As we said before, this is by no means the only case. We often have the stereotype that modular homes cannot be used for living, but the stories of the clients tell a different story.
A family of 4 enjoying each other’s company in a modular house
We have a number of different sized houses in our catalogue, but you probably wouldn’t think that a modular house could comfortably accommodate a large family. In this case, even 4 people can! We were approached by a couple with 3 young children who asked us to tell them about our modular houses. After several consultations, they chose the MAXIS LONG, which was partially finished inside and outside and additionally insulated with polyurethane foam. They said that the house had enough space for everyone and had two spacious bedrooms, a kitchen with living room and a bathroom. The family lives in the house for about half a year – the rest of the time they are abroad, so they say that the decision to live in a modular house brings them all closer together!
Modular home abroad – living in nature
Another story we would like to share is that of a client who bought a modular house for permanent living and transported it abroad. The client doesn’t live in Lithuania and travels a lot, so a modular house is the perfect option for him. After a lot of thought, the client bought a MIDIS LONG house with partial interior and exterior finishing. The house was equipped with a bedroom, a kitchen, a living room and a bathroom – the space has been used perfectly and the atmosphere of a cosy home has been created. The client wanted a house in the countryside, away from the hustle and bustle and closer to nature, and so this is the location in which he built his home. The client took care of the transportation and the construction of the house. We always offer these services ourselves, but if necessary we can take care of these things ourselves. We were delighted to receive positive news from this client – everything went smoothly and easily and the house remained in perfect condition.
We often get questions about whether we make houses for the foreign market. We currently offer houses for Germany, Finland, Sweden and France, and we hope to make the list longer in the near future!
Over the years we have got to know and build many different houses, all with their own stories. Every customer’s needs are individual, and we are happy that our team understands this and makes all your dreams come true!
